Transfer scholarships are available to incoming transfer students who have never attended 无码专区.

Scholarship applications for the 2022-2023 academic year will be available from Sept. 1, 2021 through Feb. 1, 2022. Applications for the 2023-2024 academic year will be available from Aug. 1, 2022 through Feb. 1, 2023. 

Transfer Students: Entering Spring or Summer 2020

No other application is necessary. Completing the application for admission process early is strongly encouraged. Scholarship recipients will be notified by mail at their home address.

Transfer Student Scholarship (3.5-4.0 GPA)

Value: $1,000 per semester

Eligibility: To be considered, a student must meet the following criteria:

  • Regularly-admitted to 无码专区
  • Incoming undergraduate transfer student who has never before attended 无码专区 [Credit received from 无码专区 as a non-degree seeking student (visiting high school, visiting college, dual admission, dual credit) will not disqualify one from consideration.],
  • Transfer from an accredited 2-year or 4-year, public or private college/university and begin attending 无码专区 as a full-time student the Spring, Summer or Fall 2018 semesters to pursue his/her first baccalaureate degree,
  • At least 24 earned post-high school, college level credit hours for all classes completed through the:
    >Fall 2019 semester if transferring to 无码专区 the Spring 2020 semester, or
    >Spring 2020 semester if transferring to 无码专区 the Summer or Fall 2020 semesters
  • Cumulative transfer grade point average of 3.50 or higher on all post-high school, college level classes completed through the:

    >Spring 2020 semester if transferring to 无码专区 the Summer or Fall 2020 semesters.

Please Note: Final Scholarship awards are based on the student's cumulative GPA (from the completion of a minimum of 24 post-high school college-level credit hours) following the Fall 2019 semester for Spring 2020 admits or Spring 2020 semester for Summer or Fall 2020 admits. Renewability: The Transfer Student Scholarship may be received for a maximum of six (6) semesters of undergraduate study provided the recipient:

  • Remains in good academic standing (not be placed on academic probation), and
  • Maintains a minimum cumulative 无码专区 grade-point average of 3.25 upon completion of each academic year.

Value: $500 per semester

Eligibility: To be considered, a student must meet the following criteria:

Midwest Student Exchange Program

Value: At 无码专区, non-Missouri residents are charged the in-state tuition rate plus a non-resident fee. The Midwest Student Exchange Program will provide 50% of the non-resident portion of the fees of qualifying students. Students are responsible for the remaining 50% of the non-resident portion of the fees plus the in-state tuition rate.

Eligibility Criteria for Transfer Students: To be considered, a student must meet the following criteria:

  • Regularly-admitted to 无码专区,
  • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident,
  • Incoming undergraduate 2-year or 4-year college/university transfer student who has never before attended 无码专区 [Credit received from 无码专区 as a non-degree seeking student (visiting high school, visiting college, dual admission, dual credit) will not disqualify one from consideration.],

Eligibility Criteria for Transfer Students: To be considered, a student must meet the following criteria:

  • Incoming undergraduate 2-year or 4-year college/university transfer student who has never before attended 无码专区 [Credit received from 无码专区 as a non-degree seeking student (visiting high school, visiting college, dual admission, dual credit) will not disqualify one from consideration.],
  • Transfer from an accredited 2-year or 4-year, public or private college/university and begin attending 无码专区 as a full-time student to pursue his/her first baccalaureate degree,
  • Non-resident of Missouri, and
  • Child/grandchild or step-child/step-grandchild of an individual who earned a degree (bachelors, masters, education specialist, or cooperative doctorate) from University of Central Missouri. 

Recipients of the Second Generation Grant for Transfers may not also benefit from the 无码专区 Bound Out-of-State Scholarship, Non-Resident Fee Credit, Midwest Student Exchange Program, Non-Resident Scholar Award, non-resident fee portion of the 无码专区 Educational Development Program, or other programs that cover all or partial non-resident fees.

A non-resident fee total will appear on the 无码专区 account of Second Generation Grant for Transfers recipients. The Second Generation Grant for Transfers will cover up to $1000 per semester of the non-resident portion of tuition charges.

Recipients of the 无码专区 Bound Out-of-State Scholarship may not also receive the Second Generation Grant, Non-Resident Fee Credit, Midwest Student Exchange Program, Non-Resident Scholar Award, non-resident fee portion of the 无码专区 Educational Development Program, or other programs that cover all or partial non-resident fees.

A credit equal to the non-resident portion of tuition fees will appear on the 无码专区 account of 无码专区 Bound Out-of-State Scholarship recipients.

  • At least 42 earned post-high school, college level credit hours for all classes completed through the:

Are scholarships available for transfer students?

Students transferring from an accredited 4-year or 2-year, private or public college or university may be considered for a scholarship.

Do I have to be a full-time student to receive a 无码专区 scholarship?

Most of the 无码专区 scholarships require full-time enrollment (earning a minimum of twelve undergraduate hours per semester at 无码专区). However, if otherwise eligible, you may be enrolled in less than twelve hours and receive a proportional amount of the award value under the following conditions:

  • Be enrolled in a University-approved off-campus internship
  • Be a last semester senior completing a degree program

Can my conduct affect my 无码专区 scholarship eligibility?

 Scholarships may be reduced or canceled if the recipient fraudulently misrepresents any information or engages in serious misconduct warranting substantial disciplinary penalty.

Submitting Scholarship Checks to 无码专区

If you are the recipient of a scholarships sponsored by a civic organization, employer, church, etc., please instruct the sponsor to make the scholarship check payable to 无码专区 and forward it to:

If the sponsor provides you with the scholarship check:

  1. Endorse the check if it is made payable to you.
  2. Attach the check to a photocopy of the award letter and any supporting documents.
  3. Bring the check and photocopy documentation to Freshman Orientation and Enrollment or mail/deliver them to the Student Financial Services Office.

Caution: If the scholarship check is made payable only to you, we suggest you deliver the check to the Student Financial Services Office (1100 Ward Edwards) and endorse it immediately before you hand it to the cashier.

When we receive your scholarship check, we will credit your 无码专区 student account. The amount of the scholarship check will be divided evenly between the Fall and Spring semesters unless otherwise instructed in writing by the scholarship sponsor.

If the scholarship sponsor requests verification of your enrollment at 无码专区:

1. Provide the scholarship sponsor with a copy of your class schedule which you can print from after you attend Freshman Orientation and Enrollment.

OR

2. If the sponsor cannot accept a copy of your class schedule, you can request an enrollment verification certificate by calling the 无码专区 Office of the Registrar at (660) 543-4900, option 3 (not option 2) after you attend Freshman Orientation and Enrollment.
