Here’s what’s cookin’

The Jazz commercial degree will prepare you to perform and teach diverse jazz and commercial styles on a national scale. You’ll get the chance to perform with our two ÎÞÂëרÇø Jazz Large Ensembles and with our Jazz-Rock Combos while taking classes related to improvisation, arranging, and history. ÎÞÂëרÇø alumni have continued their studies in graduate Jazz programs at institutions such as Rutgers University, University of Northern Colorado, and University of Missouri-Kansas City. They have also secured professional jobs as performers and educators in the field.

Each semester you will receive instruction from ÎÞÂëרÇø’s outstanding faculty and world-renowned guest artists. Recent guest artists include Tamir Hendelman, Shawn Pelton, Rob Scheps, Jerry Dodgion, Jim O’Connor, Jason Jackson, Todd Strait, Kathy Kosins, and Roger Rosenberg.
